The journey of serving others like yourself started before I was born. After my grandfather Ben serving in the US Military, my father came here from the Philippines with only a bag, towel, one change of clothes and $50 to his name. After getting things together, a friend asked if he wanted sell his house because the value of his home had grown while he lived in it. Little did his friend know, this would be the catalyst to my father going on to buy multiple homes, units, lots, an entire cul-de-sac and now owning real estate both domestically and abroad – almost all while working as a window clerk at the Huntington Beach post office.
Before my wife and I bought our first home he taught us something that’s served me and countless others since he’s shared it, and that’s home financing should be so transparent and simple that it should fit on the back of a napkin. And if it isn’t, that’s usually some excuse for people to charge you fees and interest rates you shouldn’t be paying in the first place.
Following in his footsteps I started in the appraisal department of a mortgage company in the summer of 2001. That led me to working for a local boutique lender where I learned everything from application to the packaging and selling of loans on Wall Street. When head-hunted by a nationwide lender, where everything was more of a production line, I was told my skillset was that of 8-12 people and the best part was, because I understood everything from the needs of the people I served as well as the needs of Walls Street, I’m able to quickly bridge the gap between everything from government regulated programs to private funding, without all the complicated layers in between.
Simple. Transparent. Tailored To Your Needs, And Fast. The way it’s supposed to be.
Outside of work, you can find me with my wife, kids and our English bulldog Chloe. Our loves include, spending quality quiet time, my sons martial arts where he trains with Akira Fukuda the Olympic Chair leading the US National Karate Team to their first ever Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020 and my daughters gymnastics where she trains out of the same gym as 8 time NCAA champion and multiple Olympian Sam Mikulak. In my spare time you can find me on the Life Over Type 2 Podcast where I’m dedicated to helping save as many lives and saving as many families that deal and struggle with the same medical condition I have which is type 2 diabetes.
I’ve made it my life’s work to working with the best while serving others and I look forward doing the same with you.
Have a wonderful day, and I look forward to funding your mortgage.
